Finn Juhl (1912-1989) trained as an architect and self-taught furniture designer by vocation. He was responsible for introducing the concept of “Danish design” during the forties and bringing it to the U.S. Although this designer enjoyed prestige during his lifetime, his works were for years little recognized until the firm Onecollection decided to reissue them, claiming a prominent place for one of the fathers of Nordic design.
